Matthew Thomas Brooks age 45 of Loudon passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2023, at his home. Matthew spent many years working as a nurse and enjoyed caring for people. He loved football and was an avid Buffalo Bills Fan.

Matthew was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Brooks; grandparents, Wesley and Barbara Carver, A.C. and Julie Brooks, and Martha Akins. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jaye Weaver Brooks; son and daughter-in-law, Logan and Sydni Brooks; grandson Cash Ottis Brooks; mother, Tammy Brooks; brothers and sister-in-law, Adam and Kayla Brooks, Lucas Brooks, and Jamie Brooks; sister and brother-in-law, Bobbie Jo and Chris Mitchell; nieces, Abby (Tyler) Tubbs, Keddy, Kaden, Aubrey, Jamie, and Jenna Brooks; nephews, Baylor and Chance Brooks, and Silas Mitchell; father and mother-in-law, Mike and Kathy Weaver; sisters-in-law, Crystal Bingham and Amy (Brian) Johnson; brother-in-law, Michael (Stephanie) Weaver; nieces, Laura Grace Wiggins, Taylor Weaver, and Katie Johnson; nephews, Mason, Hayden and Brody Bingham, Camron and Cade Weaver.
