Michael Stuart Mongeon

<p>Michael Stuart Mongeon, 73 of Austin Texas passed away March 22nd. At this time of social distancing, the memorial plans will be announced at a later date.</p><p>Mike was born in Burlington, VT on February 23, 1947. He graduated from Bellows Free Academy St. Albans VT, where he was an All-State Athlete and went on to serve our country in the Vietnam War with the 374th RR Co., 4th infantry division of the army.</p><p>Mike married his wife Linda Mongeon on December 21st, 1968 they celebrated their 51st anniversary in 2019. He was a loving father to Michelle and Roxanne. He loved music, playing drums as well as wood working and painting.</p><p>Mike is survived by his wife Linda Mongeon, daughters Roxanne Mongeon and Michelle Kupper, son-law Derek Kupper and grandchildren, Courtney, Max, Kayleigh, and Dakota, sisters Bette Grenon and Connie Zeno, and brother Joey Mongeon.</p><p>Mike is preceded in death by his father Thomas O. Mongeon, mother Marion Welsh, brother Thomas Mongeon and granddaughter Madelyn Mongeon</p><p>In lieu of flower send donations to The American Cancer Society.</p><p><br></p><p>Condolences may be sent to: .</p>

Blessings upon all of Mikes family. Mike was a gentle giant with such a good heart. Missing his sweet smile, happy hour at his house, music whether on drums or singing his songs, laughter, jokes and even his opinions. Lol!!
