Charles David (Butch) Branham, 71 of Lenore, WV, departed this life on May 25th, 2023, at his residence, surrounded by his family.

He was born on August 6, 1951, in Holden, WV as the son of the late Norman and Mae (Bolden) Branham.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Dinah Gail Browning.

Butch was a coal miner. He spent 20 years working underground as an electrician, and the majority of his career at Island Creek Coal Company. He enjoyed working around his home, restoring old cars, working on HAM radios, building waterfalls, riding motorcycles, being outdoors and spending time with his family.   He was known as a jack of all trades by everyone that knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his best friend and his wife of 52 years Donna (Runyon) Branham.  Daughters: Traci Spence of Delbarton, Kelli Branham of Lenore, Julie Branham of Boston KY, Nikki Fitzpatrick of Lenore; sister, Beulah Vance of Delbarton; Grandchildren: Courtney (Zack) Maynard, Keldee Branham, Charles Branham Lackey, Mason Layne, Valerie Lackey, Angel Lackey, Abigail Spence, Elliot Ballengee, Patty Spence, Nolee Ballengee, Knox Vance, and 16 great grandchildren with one more on the way.  

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 9:00PM, Monday May 29, 2023, at the Little Dove Church at Belo, WV.  Refreshments will be provided.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday May 30, 2023, at the Little Dove Church at Belo, WV with Roger Ooten and Jimmy Maynard officiating.
