George Winston Lloyd, “Blind Baby,” age 71, of Midlothian, Va., passed away on May 25, 2023. George was preceded in death by his father, Ernest C. Lloyd Sr.; mother, Bertha Ames Lloyd; brother, Ernest C. Lloyd Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Antoinette M. Miller-Lloyd; daughter, Promithuios Mitchell; sisters, Monte Lloyd Mercer, Senora Lloyd Lewis (Daniel), Smantra Lloyd Vaughan (Stephen); brother, Major Willie W. Lloyd; grandchildren, Chiron Winston Mitchell, Santeia Jurne Douglas; mother-in-law, Ethel B. Miller. He was a loving uncle, friend, brother and son. George had heartfelt love for Lucie Ames Riley and her family. George leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, 1 p.m., at Bliley’s Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Road, Richmond, Va. Interment will follow at a later date.
