<p>In Loving Memory of </p><p>KEN GILBERT </p><p>May 2, 1963 – May 19, 2023 </p><p>Long-time Parksville/Qualicum resident Ken Gilbert, born on May 2, 1963, passed away on May 19, 2023, in Piapot, Saskatchewan. </p><p>He is survived by his son Travis Gilbert (Kelowna), his brother Jason Gilbert (Qualicum Beach), and his mother, Barbara Gilbert (Chemainus). </p><p>If you knew Ken (Swage to some), you would understand no service planned. He would much prefer you tip a glass or two of your favorite beverages in his memory. </p><p>Wherever you are Ken, here is hoping there is an endless amount of animals to hunt and plenty of birds to shoot. I hope you are with Jimmy and surrounded by friends with your glasses always full and never-ending stories of the daily hunt.
