Lolita Staelens Obituary

Lolita Staelens passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 13, 1953, in Leyte, Visaya, Philippines. Lolita was a faithful follower of Christ, she attended West Ridge Church in Dallas, GA and co-founded Mission Field House Ministry with Pastor Donna Taylor 23 years ago to assist missionaries and the less fortunate in the Philippines. Her personal mission was to lead people to Jesus and help the underprivileged children in the Philippines. Her passion was her family, she raised all six children, and all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading her bible, praying for those she loved, and the ones she didn't know to come to Christ, and watching videos of cooking on YouTube. She was a special person who touched the lives of so many and she will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence Staelens III.

She is survived by her children, Lucy (Kevin) Fudge, Maria (Jeremy) Staelens, Lelian (Jeff) Moore, Loren Montilla, Lany (Alan) Dodson, Lawrence (Anne) Staelens IV; Grandchildren, Ashley Moore, Jacob Moore, Amber Combellack, Cameron Fudge, Nina Peltier, Cory Peltier, Toni Smith, Brett Smith, Billy Andruzzi, Kristoffer Staelens, Luke Staelens, Jeremy Michael Staelens, Azalie Moore, Devon Bullinger, Jeffrey Moore, Josh Moore, Lizelle Montilla, Logan Gaines, Levi Gaines, Nikki Dodson, Nathan Dodson, Alexis Morrow, Monti Grace Dodson, Lawrence Staelens V, Liana Staelens; Great-Grandchildren, Rylee Moore, Peyton Moore, Ayrabella Moore, Jaymeson Moore, Owen Smith, Tucker Smith, Mila Bullinger, and Ava Peltier; Extended Family; Rowena (Joe) Barrett, Leanne Barrett, Kristen Barrett, and James Barrett; and a host of other extended Family, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home, Hiram, GA on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service for Lolita will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, immediately following the visitation, with Pastor Donna Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery in Dallas, GA, with Amber Combellack, Billy Andruzzi, Jeffrey Moore, Josh Moore, Lawrence Staelens V, Jacob Moore, Nathan Dodson, and Logan Gaines serving as pallbearers.
