Mr. Jimmy Dan Bethea, 68, of 1273 Oxendine School Rd, was born on November 24, 1955 and departed this life on May 24, 2023 at home, surrounded by his wife, Vickie Locklear, family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by one son, Elliott Bethea and his parents, Jim and Polly Bethea.

Mr. Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Vickie Locklear; three sons, Christopher Bethea, Lonnie Bethea and Donnie Bethea; three brothers, Calvin Bethea, Jerry Bethea and Van Bethea; six grandchildren; one great grandson, Riley and a host of family and friends. 

Mr. Jimmy was a great friend to everyone he met. He was a jack of all trades and will be truly missed and loved dearly. He will live on in our hearts.
