Rev. Ronald Edward Hooper, age 92 of Cornelia, GA passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023.

Born on June 29, 1930 in Banks County, GA, Rev. Hooper was the son of the late Charlie F. and Lilly Mae Neisler Hooper. He was a salesman and was a former pastor of several area churches with the latest one being Bible Landmark Church in Cornelia, GA.

Survivors include a son, Jonathan (Becky) Hooper; daughters, LaDonna Plum, Vicki (Wendell) Sullens; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Arrowood, Rev. Carl King, Rev. Bill Trotter, and Rev. Clarke Kesler officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Level Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4-7 pm Saturday evening at the funeral home.
