<p>May 22,2023, Tima Marie Johnson, 76, of Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully in her sleep after her long battle with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Tima was born to Will and Lucille Johnson on November 22, 1946. After high school, Tima pursued a career in the insurance industry for several years before discovering her passion in retail fashion and cosmetics where she spent the remainder of her career. Because she always instilled in her family to follow Christ and not judge other regardless of their circumstance, she later followed her heart and began working with special needs adults.</p><p><br></p><p>Tima is survived by two children with her first spouse, Herbert Spears: Darren Spears (Leslie Spears) and Rev. Stephanie Parham (James Parham); six grandchildren: Mylon Spears, Joseph Cooper II, Darren Spears Jr., Remy Dean, Dr. Jessica Swaim, and Cartier Dean (Ashley Brownell); five great grandchildren: Karson George, Chloe Dudley, Giselle Burns, Gia Dean and Herbert Spears; One brother: William Johnson (Jeanni Johnson).</p><p>Tima was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a beautiful person inside and out and had a smile that could light up any room. She was kind and passionate and made an impact on many lives. She will be forever missed.</p>
