Ms. Louise Marie Lee passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023, at St. Francis Home in Saginaw, Michigan, at the age of 84 years. She was born December 15, 1938, in Union Springs, Alabama to Clarence and Betsy Ray.

Louise was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She brought her family to Saginaw in 1965 and did an amazing job creating a great life for them, even after losing the love of her life, Coleman Weems. Louise was employed by and retired from General Motors (Chevrolet Grey Iron) and was affiliated with UAW Local 668. In her younger years, Louise enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. She spent countless hours reading the Word in order that she might share it with family and friends. Every opportunity led to the Lord. When she spoke, you felt the presence of God. Louise also enjoyed arts and crafts. She was a comedian who always knew how to make you laugh. Her laugh was contagious and caused the entire room to fill with laughter. Louise was very caring and loving. She loved her family and worked hard to provide for them; most of all, she worked hard at serving the Lord. Louise will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Puncho Weems; one daughter, Pamala Weems; eleven grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren; one sister, Ophelia Taylor; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Coleman Weems; two sons, Coleman Jr., and Paul Weems; one daughter, Deltrich Calhoun; three sisters, Thelma Troy, Bell Heard, and Gloria Robinson; and two brothers, Clarence Ray Jr., and Otis Ray.

The family would like to express special thanks to everyone that demonstrated their love for our beloved mother and grandmother.

My deepest condolences to the Lee, Seems family.
Sadly I just saw this today.
I remember her from being a childhood friend and neighbor when her family was younger in the 60's-70's.
May God heal your sorrow and I am sending love and hugs if comfort.
