Rebecca Davis Obituary

Rebecca Annalynn Davis - We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Rebecca, who left us too soon at the young age of 42. She went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. She was born on March 11, 1981 the daughter of Charles Tony and Rosella Lunce Davis. She was a baptized member of First Christian Church of Mt. Vernon and a believer in the blood of Jesus Christ. She was a devoted and loving mother, daughter, and sister and was an incredibly talented artist.

She was a graduate of Rockcastle County High School and later attended and graduated from the Cincinnati Art Academy with a degree in art. She later traveled to Venice, Italy and Munich, Germany where she studied in pursuit of her Master’s degree.

Rebecca grew up with a passion for, and was truly blessed with the talent for art. Throughout her life, she continued to express herself through her beautiful creations. She had a free-spirited nature and her work reflected that. Rebecca always lived life on her own terms, and she inspired everyone around her to do the same. She was caring, kind-hearted, and always put others before herself. Her love for her family was something that could be felt by everyone who met her. Her son, Charlie, was the light of her life and she cherished every moment spent with him.

Rebecca touched the hearts of many, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her. She had an infectious smile and a laugh that could light up the room. Her warmth and positive energy were always felt by everyone around her. Although Rebecca’s time with us on earth was brief, her legacy will live on forever. She will be remembered as a kind, compassionate, and beautiful soul, who brought love and light to everyone she met.

Rest in peace, Rebecca. May you sleep in the arms of angels. We will love you always and forever.
