<p>Maria Castro, 68, of Jayuya, Puerto Rico, went to be with the Lord on May 23rd, 2023.</p><p><br></p><p>She was a dedicated home health aide prior to becoming disabled. She enjoyed spending time with family and attending an adult day program where she spent time with friends. At home she enjoyed cooking, knitting, and watching her novellas. Maria's grandchildren and great grandchildren were the joy of her life. She grew up with many brothers and sisters and held a close relationship with her best friend Iris.</p><p><br></p><p>She lived for her sons, Luis Vazquez (Elba), Benjamin Vazquez (Michelle), and Benito Castro (Carmen), daughters, Kathy Costin (Tommy), Evelyn Collazo, Viviana Guzman, and Jen Torres, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Monica, Raul, Luis Jr., Toni, Angelo, Alexia, Alesha, Alina Chris, Bianca, Ceaira, Ryan, Nina, Jennielee, Noah, Juan, and Benji. She was also a great grandmother to Ja'Niyah, Ja'Laisha, Jayden, Hailey, Caleb, Jaxson, and Jayson as well as Titi to many nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Private viewing to be held for family and friends.</p>February 8, 1955 - May 23, 202302/08/195505/23/2023
