Obituary for Anthony James Palazzolo, Jr.(1953-2023)

Anthony James Palazzolo, Jr., age 69, of Elkins Park, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Monday May 22nd, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, Anthony was the son of the late Dr. Anthony James Palazzolo, Sr. and the late Anne Marie (nee LaVallin), the devoted husband of Joanne (nee Edinger) Palazzolo since April 2nd, 2004, the loving father to Justine Palazzolo and Nicole Palazzolo, the cherished brother of the late James Palazzolo who died as an infant, Nicole Keating, Dr. Michael Palazzolo and David Palazzolo, the beloved grandfather of Matthew and Jarred Palazzolo, Julian and Langston Edwards, and the adoring great-grandfather of Joseph, Chase, Jane, Charles and Olivia Palazzolo. 

Mr. Palazzolo attended Bishop McDevitt High School and graduated from technical school in 1971. He worked for over 20 years in pest control, and started A&B Pest Control in 2002 until he retired in 2010. He was a dedicated son, always helping his parents. He was a diehard Eagles fan who enjoyed gardening, loved his dogs and enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and great-grandchildren who knew him as “Nono”!

Relatives and Friends are invited on Thursday, June 1st,2023 to Immaculate Conception B.V.M. Church, 604 West Ave., Jenkintown, PA 19046, where his family will greet guests from 9:30am until 10:20am, and his Memorial Mass will begin at 10:30am. The family would appreciate Memorial Donations to the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters, known as “The Pink Sisters”, Convent of Divine Love, 2212 Green St., Philadelphia, PA 19130.
