Judith A. “Judy” (Brockman) Hamilton, 84, of Indianapolis passed away on May 26, 2023, at Indiana University Hospital West.  Judy was born on July 13, 1938, in Indianapolis to Carl and Thelma (Watt) Brockman.  She was a 1956 graduate of Ben Davis High School, and a member of the El-Bethel Baptist Church.  Judy retired from the Indiana Department of Revenue after many years of service.

Judy is survived by her sons: Brian (Debbie) Anacker and Evan (Patricia) Anacker; sister, Carla (Matt) Bracken; grandchildren: Julie (Brooke) Anacker and Heather (Chris) Haggard; great grandchildren: Annabelle, Vivienne and Nate.  Judy was preceded in death by her parents, son, Christopher, and husbands: George Anacker, Thomas Hilson and Jimmy Hamilton.

Funeral services for Judy will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at El-Bethel Baptist Church, 7183 East Co. Rd 100 North in Avon.  Burial will follow at West Ridge Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care 641 North Co. Rd. 1050 East Indianapolis from 4-8 PM and from 10 AM until the service Wednesday at the church.
