Linda Diana Lowe Obituary

Linda Diana (Teegarden) Lowe, 66, Gas City, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at her residence in Gas City. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on November 19, 1956, to Clarence and Mary (Emry) Teegarden.  On December 31, 1989, she married Robert "Bob" E. Lowe, who preceded her in death.


Following Linda's graduation from Mississinewa High School in 1975, she furthered her education in Indianapolis, where she became an Occupational Therapist. She lived in Indianapolis, where she worked at assisted care facilities and then moved back to Marion and worked 20 years at Advantage Home Health Care. Linda was a member of Twin City Lions Club, where she was the treasurer for four years.


Linda loved dirt racing and had raced on the weekends in Gas City, Montpelier, Kokomo, and Bunker Hill. She was an awesome race car driver and had received "Most Popular Driver" several years in a row. Linda also loved camping. Most of all, she loved her family and enjoyed being a foster parent for many years.


Survivors include her son, Jimmy Ervin of Uniondale; granddaughters, Kirsten Linnemier and Heather Linnemier; grandson, Kyle Linnemier; nieces, Betty Rose and Billie Teegarden; nephew, Charlie Teegarden; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.


She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charles "Buck" Teegarden, Sr., and Clarence Teegarden, "Jr.".


The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Grant Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN.


Immediately following the time of visitation, a funeral service to celebrate Linda's life will begin at 1:00 pm. Pastor Mick Simpkins will be officiating with burial at Grant Memorial Park.


Arrangements are entrusted to Integrity Cremation & Funeral Care, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion, IN.
