Joseph "Joe" L. Doll

<p>Joseph "Joe" L. Doll of West Valley, NY passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, NY at the age of 70.</p><p><br></p><p>He was born May 16, 1953 in Buffalo, a son of the late Leo and Sylvia (Flatt) Doll. He enjoyed going to his cottage, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren and family. </p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Borer) Doll, whom he married in 1976 in Buffalo. He is also survived by his children: Kira (Corey Williams) Doll of Syracuse, Kelly (Alex) Swiderski of Kenmore, and Kristine (Marc) Dickinson of Elma; siblings: Dr. Peter (Lillia) Doll of KY, Susan Dimario of VT, and Richard (Kelly) Doll of Tonawanda; grandchildren: Natalie Dickinson, Claire Dickinson, Bennett Dickinson, and Hudson Swiderski; life long friends, Kevin and Susan Doherty of Buffalo; as well as several nieces and nephews. </p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, David Doll. </p><p><br></p><p>There will be no prior visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lake of Bays Fire Department, 1012 Dwight Beach Road Dwight, ON P0A 1H0.</p>
