<p>Christopher James Pierson passed away on May 17, 2023, in Petersburg, KY. Born in Covington, KY to Deborah Hensley and Greg Brownfield, he was a mason by trade and a member of the Petersburg Baptist Church. Chris enjoyed antique bottle hunting, arrowhead hunting, deer hunting and fishing in his hometown of Petersburg where he was a loved member of the community. Chris is proceeded in death by his dad: Michael Pottinger; maternal grandparents: Robert and Irene Hensley; uncle and aunt: Tim and Barbie Hensley; aunt: Steveanna Runion and cousin: Cheyenne Hensley. Chris is survived by sons: Devlin Pierson and fiancée Lydia Guinn, Brett Pierson and Trace Isaiah Regenbogen; brother: John Pottinger; sister: Stacy Pierson; nephews: Jalen Abdon, Joshua Pierce and John Aden Pottinger; niece: Kaitlyn Houze; great-nieces: Aryanna, Norah, Demi, Addy, Charli and Stella; great-nephews: Elijah and Cason; aunt and uncle: Sonny and Cheryl Hensley; friend and cousins: Sean Kelli and Dakota Hensley and many more cousins. A Graveside service for Christopher will take place on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Petersburg Cemetery, Petersburg, KY.
