Russell T. Poole
<p>Russell T. Poole, 78, of Morrisonville, passed May 25, 2023 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Fair Haven, VT on June 29, 1944.</p><p><br></p><p>Russell served his country in the United States Navy and was a proud Veteran. He loved to draw in his free time and go crystal digging on the mountain in Montana. He'll be missed for his stories and humor. And he loved all his cats.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by the love of his life, Dorothy Gorman, her family; Richard and Sharon Gorman and their son Kyle, Barry and Lori Gorman and their sons Christopher and Matthew, Kathy and Paul Goldfine and their daughter Jennifer, Katie Gorman and her daughter Heather, and Bill Gorman and his daughters Abby and Madison.</p><p>He is also survived by his son Russell "Rusty" Poole and his family.</p><p><br></p><p>There will be no public calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, June 2, 2023 at 12:00pm at St. Alexander's Church. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery in Morrisonville with Military Honors.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. Russell was a great guy. We loved him dearly and he will be greatly missed. I wish we had been able to see more of him and Dorothy in the last few years. We had great times when they came to Montana up at the claim and on our trip to Cody Wyoming together.
