Charley Ann Baker, age 44, of Georgetown De passed away suddenly on May 19, 2023.  She was born on November 18, 1978 to Charles & Alice, but Charley was raised by her father Damon L Ball.

     Charley was preceded in death by her biological father Charles Baker, her brother Millard Coffin Jr. and her father Damon L. Ball, plus her grandparents and several aunts and uncles. 

     Charley is survived by her mother Alice Ball of Georgetown, her brother James (Sheila) Wilkins of Gumboro, her sister Kimberly Baker and fiancé Shawn Hickman, her nephew Dawson (Haley) Baker of Delmar, her nephew Dusty Baker of Georgetown and her brother in law Buddy Taylor, also of Georgetown. She also has a great nephew Carson Lee Short who she loved and niece Alanna Rae Smith-Hickman. 

    Charley Ann was a loving daughter, sister and by all means a good friend to everyone. She would do anything she could to help when she could. She was a poultry grower with her brother James on his farm and helped two other friends with their farms when it was needed. She loved her family and friends. She was like a second mom to her nephews Dawson and Dusty and loved spoiling them even after they were grown. 

    A Celebration of Life will be held for Charley on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Gumboro Fire Hall, 37030 Millsboro Highway, Millsboro, DE 19966.  Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
