Willie "Sketch" Ferguson

Willie Charles Ferguson went home to be with the Lord on May 25, 2023. Willie was born on May 23, 1951, to the late Willie and Sara (Crim)
Ferguson. Willie graduated from Camden High School in 1971. Willie was employed with DuPont for 31 years.

Willie received Christ at an early age. Willie was baptized at Union Baptist Church and was a member of the Good Hope United Methodist Church
until his health failed. Willie was affectionately known as (Sketch, Slim, Sonny Boy, and Boi). When we reflect on Willie’s personality it reminds us of Philippians 4:8
“Keeping his thoughts fixed on authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind things”.

Although Willie never played football, he became a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Willie’s favorite words were yeah, yeah, but if you spoke about his favorite team the Steelers, he would have a no-ending conversation. Willie loved math and was good at teaching it to his nieces and nephews.

Willie was preceded in death by his sisters Martha Gardner and Mary F. Sanders.

He leaves to mourn three daughters Meshall Ferguson, Tameka Ferguson, and Precious Davis (Rembert, SC), one son Shontrezz Ferguson
(Columbia, SC); two grandchildren Tierra Ferguson and Tamia Jackson of Rembert, SC; two sisters Minnie Ferguson and Susie (Tommie) Miller both of Rembert
SC; one brother Calvin (Linda) Ferguson of Rembert SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
