Willie "Sketch" Ferguson

<p>Willie Charles Ferguson went home to be with the Lord on May 25, 2023.&nbsp;Willie was born on May 23, 1951, to the late Willie and Sara (Crim)<br> Ferguson. Willie graduated from Camden High School in 1971. Willie was&nbsp;employed with DuPont for 31 years. </p><p>Willie received Christ at an early age. Willie was baptized at Union Baptist&nbsp;Church and was a member of the Good Hope United Methodist Church<br> until his health failed.&nbsp;Willie was affectionately known as (Sketch, Slim, Sonny Boy, and Boi).&nbsp;When we reflect on Willie’s personality it reminds us of Philippians 4:8<br> “Keeping his thoughts fixed on authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind things”. </p><p>Although Willie never played football, he became a die-hard Pittsburgh&nbsp;Steelers fan. Willie’s favorite words were yeah, yeah, but if you spoke&nbsp;about his favorite team the Steelers, he would have a no-ending&nbsp;conversation. Willie loved math and was good at teaching it to his nieces&nbsp;and nephews. </p><p>Willie was preceded in death by his sisters Martha Gardner and Mary F.&nbsp;Sanders. </p><p>He leaves to mourn three daughters Meshall Ferguson, Tameka Ferguson,&nbsp;and Precious Davis (Rembert, SC), one son Shontrezz Ferguson<br> (Columbia, SC); two grandchildren Tierra Ferguson and Tamia Jackson of Rembert, SC; two sisters Minnie Ferguson and Susie (Tommie) Miller both of Rembert<br> SC; one brother Calvin (Linda) Ferguson of Rembert SC; and a&nbsp;host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. </p>
