William (Bill) Arthur Wood

October 29, 1933 - May 18, 2023

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Father William (Bill) Wood. He entered into rest on Thursday, May 18th at Belleville General Hospital in his 90th year.

Bill is predeceased by his parents William and Beatrice Wood. Beloved husband of the late Rebecca (Becky) Fell. Loving Father of Beth (Randy) Cretney, Pamela (George) Elliott, Jeffrey (Mary Anne) Wood, Andrew Wood and Joel Wood.

He is missed by his loving grandchildren Katie, Joey (Mariann), Tammy (Mark), Kathleen and Ashley. Great grandchildren Ben, Oliver, Jacob and Lavender.

Predeceased by his sister Jean (Harold) Lohnes. Survived by brother Ralph (Jenny) Wood of Corbyville, son-in-law of Danny and the late Bill Fell. Brother-in-law of Ted (Myrna), Bill, Larry and Dan (Angie) Fell. Bill was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada and the USA.

With respect to Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of this wonderful man who loved deeply, lived fully and embraced whatever challenges were given to him without fear, will take place at a later date.

Dad will always be remembered as the kind, generous, strong, fun loving and courageous man he was. He will continue to live in our hearts and the hearts of those who knew him.

We would like to thank the Belleville Emergency Department and the Quinte 5 staff for the wonderful care and compassion that dad received during his hospital stay.
