Age 98 passed peacefully May 24, 2023, in the presence of his family. 

Born May 1, 1925, in Spokane, Washington, he was raised in West Seattle. A World War II veteran of the Coast Guard, Bob lived many years in Milwaukie, Oregon. He worked in industrial refrigeration.

During retirement he enjoyed volunteering at Providence hospital in Portland, golfing, and spending time with his family. He was a Bend resident for the last 22 years. Bob was a man of deep faith, integrity, and a loving father.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jean; son, Tom (Karen); daughters, Peg and Mary Jo (John); stepchildren, Tyrone and Desiree (Ken); 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance can be made to Hospice House of Bend.
