Robert Forrest Wykes
<p>Age 98 passed peacefully May 24, 2023, in the presence of his family. </p><p><br></p><p>Born May 1, 1925, in Spokane, Washington, he was raised in West Seattle. A World War II veteran of the Coast Guard, Bob lived many years in Milwaukie, Oregon. He worked in industrial refrigeration.</p><p><br></p><p>During retirement he enjoyed volunteering at Providence hospital in Portland, golfing, and spending time with his family. He was a Bend resident for the last 22 years. Bob was a man of deep faith, integrity, and a loving father.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his loving wife, Jean; son, Tom (Karen); daughters, Peg and Mary Jo (John); stepchildren, Tyrone and Desiree (Ken); 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>A private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance can be made to Hospice House of Bend.</p><p><br></p>Obituary
