<p>Diana Ruth Brown, 67, of Columbus passed from this life Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 3:37 a.m. at her residence.</p><p>Diana was born on September 25, 1955, in Columbus, the youngest daughter of Leo E. and Mary L. Duncan Brown. She retired after 20 years of service from Heart Physicians of Southern Indiana where she was a medical transcriptionist.</p><p>She had a tremendous love for reading, Anime, and was a talented painter.</p><p>Survivors include her siblings, Prentice “Sonny” (Linda) Brown of Edinburgh, Ida Mae (Randy) Geddings of Vancouver, Washington; Linda Sue Foss of Vancouver, Washington, and Charlie (Gloria) Brown of Elizabethtown; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.</p><p>She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jim Brown.</p><p>Services have been entrusted to Barkes, Weaver &amp; Glick Funeral Home.</p><p>In keeping with Ms. Brown’s wishes cremation will take place and a private celebration of life service will be held at a later date.</p><p>In memory of Ms. Brown memorial contributions may be given through the funeral home to the American Heart Association.</p><p>Online condolences and special memories may be shared with the Brown family at barkesweaverglick.com.</p><p><br></p>

Diana was born on September 25, 1955, in Columbus, the youngest daughter of Leo E. and Mary L. Duncan Brown. She retired after 20 years of service from Heart Physicians of Southern Indiana where she was a medical transcriptionist.

She had a tremendous love for reading, Anime, and was a talented painter.
