Sylvia Marlene Stewart, 83, of Worthington, passed away Wednesday May 24, 2023 at Greys Colonial Acres. She was born December 29, 1939 in Worthington to the late Dennis and Virgie (Rhoades) Bowser.

She worked at Moonlight Mushroom Mine in Worthington, and then became supervisor at Mid Continent Telephone Company.

Sylvia was a member of the Victory Baptist Church. She enjoyed being at home and raising her family.

Per Sylvia’s wishes there will be no public viewing or services. A private family burial took place on Friday May 26, 2023 in the Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery.
