<p>Richard "Dick" Arthur Lambrecht, 93, husband of the late Margaret Lambrecht, died Wednesday, May 24, 2023.</p><p><br></p><p>Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Arthur and Ada Eichmeier Lambrecht.</p><p><br></p><p>A Chicago native, Dick graduated from Elmhurst College in 1950 with a bachelor's degree; he worked in electronics as an engineer at Kemet Corp in Greenville, SC. He married Margaret Whitburn Lambrecht in 1950 in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. The couple was blessed with seven children. The family moved to Greenville in 1968 where he joined John Knox Presbyterian Church in Greenville, SC. Dick sang in the Cleveland Chorale under the direction of Robert Shaw and later with the Greenville Chorale. He loved classical music and was a talented baritone. He enjoyed traveling and building hit-and-miss engines from scratch.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by five sons, Jon (Debbie) Lambrecht, Mark (Lynn) Lambrecht, Ted Lambrecht, Tom (Cheri) Lambrecht, and Glenn (Laura) Lambrecht; two daughters, Gail L. (Kim) Varner and Amy (Dirk) Warriner; 21 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>A private family service will be held at a later date.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.</p><p><br></p><p>Friends are encouraged to share their favorite memories of Richard with the family by clicking on the button labeled “Leave A Message, Share A Memory” below.</p>
