Obituary
Latrice V. Lewis was born on January 9, 1974, in Kansas City, Mo. to W. Jean Lewis and Charles Lewis.
Latrice was educated in the Kansas City, Missouri School District. She worked as a manager at a local restaurant. She did professional modeling in her younger years. She was a self-taught hair stylist.
Latrice (Tricey) was a loving mother to her only child, Christopher T. Williams. She raised him, she taught him, and she cherished him. She will greatly be remembered for her love of music, love for the Kansas City Chiefs football, binge watching movies, lettuce salad making skills, love of traveling, and always ready to have a good time. She had a close relationship with her niece, Tajsa. She called her the daughter that she never had and nick-named her Willy Wonka.
Latrice passed away peacefully at home on May 19, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, Glenn Cooper, Sr., her brother Thomas J. Lewis, Sr., her infant twin sisters: Stephanie and Veronica, and her nephew Dennis Leo Smith.
Those who will continue to keep her memories alive are her son, Christopher T. Williams, her parents W. Jean and Charles Lewis; three brothers, Glenn Cooper, Dennis Lewis, and Carlton Lewis: two sisters, Wende Cooper, and Tiara Lewis; four uncles, Linson (Pat), Horace, Booker, and Eddie Cooper. Seven aunts including Jesten Hill and Melinda Nixon; five nephews, Dwight, DaVaughn, Thomas, Que, and Jaylin; six nieces, Calandra, Da’Zhnique, De’Ashia, Evette, Samerrah, Tajsa, and Jaliyah: as well as a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
