<p>John Gutierrez, 90, of Calumet City, IL passed away Thursday. December 26, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Esther, children: Joseph (Rosabla) Gutierrez, Christine (Mauro) Gonzalez, John M. Gutierrez, Lindalee (Raymond) Alford, seven grandchildren: Crystal, Joe, Teamisha, David (Amanda), Lina (Erick), Dayna (fiance Mark) Derek (Brooke), eleven great-grandchildren: Salvador, Erick Jr., Liliana, David IV, Kai, Kennedy, Jaden, Jaron, Jalen, Jamen, Destiny sister: Emma (Joe) Foley, many additional loving family and friends. John was preceded in death by his sister Raquel. </p><p>A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Knock, 501 163rd St, Calumet City, IL 60409. A gathering time with the family will precede the mass beginning at 9:30 AM. </p><p>John was a member of Our Lady of Knock retired from Burlington Northern Railroad after 40 years of service, he was proud to have served in the US Army as a paratrooper, he was a dance instructor at a young age, he was an avid sports fan who loved his family dearly, as well as his dogs.
