Margaret “Margie” A. Dey 75 of Peoria, IL passed away 9:18 A.M. May 24, 2023 at Manor Court, Clinton, IL.

Visitation for Margie’s friends and family will be held from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 PM Saturday June 24, 2023 at Monticello Christian Church, Monticello, IL. A Celebration of Margie’s life will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Jerry Dusenberry officiating. Private family burial will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, IL at a later date. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Margaret was born August 27, 1947. She married Frederick E. Dey, Sr. April 8, 1990 at First Baptist church in East Peoria. He passed away January 17, 2018.

Survivors include her siblings Wilbur (Stacy) Jones, Clinton, IL, Bonnie (Terry) Bayes- Lubbers, Weldon, IL, and Randy (Cheryl) Jones, Farmer City, IL; 13 nieces and nephews and 20 plus great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother Irene Sites and one sister.

Margie loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed talking to and meeting new people throughout her life. She had a great sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew her.
