<p>Roy Robert Placet passed away peacefully on the morning of May 25, 2023 at 72 years old after his battle with pancreatic cancer. He was Born March 4th, 1951 and lived in Oceanside, NY for the entirety of his life. Married in 1976, Roy and Ann had two children together, Jessica and Robert, and have 2 granddaughters, Mia and Morgan.</p><p><br></p><p>Roy retired from Colgate Palmolive after 30 years in IT. He enjoyed an active retirement as a snowbird in Florida fishing, biking, and playing pickleball.</p><p><br></p><p>He will be sincerely missed by his family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, please consider sending donations in Roy's name to support Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Roy Robert Placet passed away peacefully on the morning of May 25, 2023 at 72 years old after his battle with pancreatic cancer.
