Dennis Marvin Moore of Havre de Grace passed away at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. He was 81.

Born in El Centro, CA, he was the son of the late Eugene M. and Rosavis (Gibbs) Moore.

Mr. Moore retired from the Harford County Board of Education where he worked as both an elementary school teacher and a band teacher. A member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, he enjoyed singing and playing in country bands.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marilee Fletcher Moore.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
