On May 21st, beloved wife and mother was called by her Lord and Savior at the age of 76.

Frances was born in Killeen, Texas and grew up surrounded by her large and loving family. She met her husband as a childhood friend, then started courting in 1962 after Dewey came out of the Air Force and they married on August 8th, 1964 building a beautiful life together for over 58 years.

Influenced by her mother, Virginia, Frances was very creative and expressed her deep love for her family through cooking, sewing, drawing, gardening, and even hairdressing. In later life, she devoted herself to the ministry and the care of others in her life. The common thread that was woven into Frances’ life - was a beautiful and giving heart.

Frances was predeceased by her father Richard Sanchez, her mother Virginia Sanchez, and her sister Linda Webb. Surviving Frances is husband Dewey Watkins, their son Scotty (DiAnna) Watkins – children Caleb, Arielle and Gabby; daughter Suzy (Pete) Garcia – children Marcus and Nicolas; and daughter Shel Bickerstaff – children Lawson and Sommer. Surviving sisters and brothers are Richard (Corina) Sanchez, Felix (Marcella) Sanchez, Mary Lou (Jeff) Shelton, and Sharon Santos.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 26th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home at 506 N 38th St. Killeen, Texas 76543.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 27th from 9:30 to 10:30 at Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church at 1704 N 38th St. Killeen, Texas 76543 with an escort to Maxdale Cemetery following.
