Walter Lee Dennis was born on December 14, 1956 in Anderson, South Carolina to the deceased Howard Lee and Dorothy Mae Dennis. He was the fifth child.

In 1965, Walter parents relocated to Philadelphia, PA. Walter attended Belmont Public School and Sulzberger Junior High. Walter completed his education and received his (GED) General Education Diploma.

He worked various jobs and was employed by the Howard Johnson Hotel.

Walter was affectionately called Bo by his friends. Walter enjoyed sports, dominos and pool.

Walter was very bold and never was afraid of a challenge. Walter will be sincerely missed by family and friends.

Walter was preceded in death by his brothers, Howard Leroy Dennis, Kenneth Dennis, both parents, Howard and Dorothy Dennis.

He is survived by: his sister, Jeanette Dennis Gilbert; brothers, Randy and Jerome Dennis; nephews, nieces and cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
