Marilyn Hines-Gilbert

<p>Mrs. Marilyn Hines-Gilbert was born on May 25, 1955 in Decatur, GA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Gilbert, her parents, Earvie Mae and Paul Miller, Sr., one brother, Spence Miller and one sister, Mary Hines. At an early age, Marilyn accepted Christ Jesus and joined St. Calvary M. B. Church. Later she joined Union Hill M. B. Church. During her young years, she was a Homemaker, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She has truly touched the lives of so many, near and far, past, and present. Her friendships were lifetime friendships. Pat never met a stranger. She was quick to help anyone at any time. She will always be remembered by her infectious Smile. One that lit up the room, and hearts of so many. She loved to fish, travel, and play cards. They all brought her great joy. She raised her children on the belief that no one man is better than the other, and that family comes first. She knew just how much she was loved. She was surrounded by her family and close friends. She never failed to Thank God for all her many blessings. Marilyn leaves to cherish her memories to her five children, Kimberly Coleman (Mark), Tawana Hines, Antiuan Turner (Regina), Spencer Turner, and Deshonda Turner. She gave love to nineteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren, whom she adored, six step children Madison Gilbert, John Cassonova Gilbert (Consuela), Aaron Gilbert, William Eugene Gilbert, Iris Gilbert and Anthony (Eunice) Williams. She has two unborn grandchildren, three brothers, Pastor Randall Hines, Sr. (Shwanna), Paul Miller, Jr. (Claudette) and Larry Strange; one sister, Sandra Hines and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, whom will miss her dearly. She also leaves five very special lifetime friends, Jeanette Davis, Devorah Swain, Debbie Everette, Lynette Michelle Clarke, John Gilmore and a special son, Jevon Crumby. </p>
