<p>Harry James Gray, 93, of Austin passed away June 10, 2014 in Austin, Texas.He was born October 5, 1920 in Kenneth, Kansas. Harry was a proud WWII Veteran of the US Navy and spent many years in the business world. He enjoyed a close and loving relationship through the years with his family of sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and cousins. He leaves many good memories to be cherished by all who are left to remember. Many of them have passed away by now, but are not forgotten.Harry was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Mary Lou.He later met and married Betty Schlichte. Their retirement years together were very special to both of them.Harry is survived by his wife of 23 years, Betty; his sister, Mary Deschepper and her husband, Auggie; nieces and nephews, Tom Rider, Lynn Barker and her husband, Buck, Louise Bagby and her husband, John, Jean Mumford and her husband, Bill; 2 step-sons, Daniel Schlichte and his wife, Lorie and David Schlichte and his wife, Melissa; step-daughter, Debra Schlichte.The family wants to thank Heart to Heart Hospice for their tender and loving care of Harry in his last few weeks.Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Harrell Funeral Home, Austin, Texas.
