<p>Lloyd A Robertson Jr. died on Sunday the 12th of May, 2019 in Austin, TX at the age of 70. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 12th, 1948 to his mother, Faye Jones Robertson, and his father, Lloyd Archie Robertson Sr.</p><p><br></p><p>Lloyd is survived by his wife Connie Williamson Robertson and his 3 children, Christi Joanne Robertson, Stephen Todd Robertson, and Amanda Marie Robertson who all reside in the Austin area.</p><p><br></p><p>Lloyd graduated from Bob Jones University in 1970 where he met his wife Connie. He then went on to Dallas Theological Seminary in 1981 and joined the ministry. Afterwards, he and his family became missionaries in Australia from January 1983 to December 1986. During those years, he and his family lived in the towns of Parkes, New South Wales and Dalby, Queensland. He served as pastor at the local church and chaplain at the school and a Bible teacher. After moving back to the United States he taught Mathematics in San Antonio and later in Georgetown until his retirement. Lloyd was best known for his dry, corny sense of humor and his dedication to his job and his family but most importantly his love for God. He will always be remembered as a family man and for his willingness to sacrifice anything for his family, friends and even strangers.</p><p><br></p><p> His family would like to send their thanks to the medical teams that provided care for him during his liver transplant at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, the frequent care given at St David's medical system in Austin and for the EMS team who provided assistance during his recent health issues.</p>
