<p>Ronald Dean Sacre, 79, was born in Indianola, Iowa, June 3rd, 1939. He passed away peacefully, May 18, 2019 in his home of 47 years, surrounded by family sharing fond memories and laughter. </p><p><br></p><p>He was the oldest of three children born to Benjamin and Dalene Sacre. As an Airman 3rd class he met the love of his life at a base dance. They married December 15, 1956 and each year after they celebrated their anniversary by putting ornaments on the Christmas Tree.</p><p><br></p><p>He served in The United States Air Force for 21 years. He was a Weapons Specialist and retired from the IG Team at Bergstrom AFB in Austin, Texas in 1974. He sacrificed many tours of duty away from his home and family to protect our country. He was known for his kindness and ability to teach his crew to pass every inspection.</p><p><br></p><p>He was a dedicated member of the Oak Hill Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School, the Singles Club, and love to sing in the choir. </p><p><br></p><p>He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Marilou Sacre. He is survived by his sister, Karen Brown; loving daughter, Roni Spector; grandchildren, Christy Dixon, Stephanie Maldonado, Branden Pate, Jamie Spector, and Daniel Spector. Also, his 7 great grandchildren Ashleigh, Tyelur, Felipe, Cooper, Karyssa, Anthony and Kambree.</p><p><br></p><p>He wrote: Please dont mourn my death, because I am alive in Christ.</p>
