John H. Wolfe, of Austin died February 17, 2013. He was born April 15, 1922 in Johnsville, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents John S. & Melissa Wolfe, sisters Eva and husband Duel Rich and Katherine Childers and brothers Alfred and Tommy.John was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII and participated in the D-Day invasion of Normandy. Until his illness he was an active member and leaves behind many friends of the Capitol Rod and Gun Club of Austin at Lake Travis.He is survived by his beloved wife Wacille Johnson Wolfe; sons Bobby and wife Sue, David, Glenn and wife Helen, Wray Johnson & wife Marcia and daughter Sharon and husband Allen. He also leaves behind sisters Minnie Sharp, Mamie Hamilton and Janet Keith; brother Ellis Gene; brother in law Leon Childers and sister in law Pat Wolfe.The family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Harrell Funeral Home, Austin, TX. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2013 at Harrell Funeral Home.
