<p>Curtis Ronnie Davis born July 25, 1935 at home in Harmony, Texas passed away on November 15, 2013 in Austin, Texas. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 55 years, Libby Jean Williams Davis; son Curtis Homuth, his wife Cindy, their three children and three grandchildren; daughter Stephanie Davis and son-in-law Paul DeGroot; daughter Rebecca Berryman, son-in-law Mike Berryman, grandsons Raleigh and Aidan Berryman; sister Ginger Ann Dishman and innumerable nieces and nephews. Ronnies childhood was spent in Beaumont, Texas, where he graduated from South Park High School in 1953. He entered Texas A College as a freshman in 1956 and was a proud graduate of the class of 1960. In 1961 he entered the Army as a 2nd Lieutenant and served for two years at Fort Hood, Texas. He spent many years working for Sun Oil Company in various capacities and was a resident of Houston, Texas for 40 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, gardening, but mostly spending time with family. After retirement Libby and Ronnie moved to Austin to be near their children. In recent years his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.Memorial services for Ronnie will be December 7th at 2 p.m. at Harrell Funeral Home at 4435 Frontier Trail Austin, Texas 78745. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Galveston, Texas. or 815 Market St. Galveston, Texas 77550, Attn: Donation Dept.</p>
