Paul Thomas Eisman, 69, of Austin, Texas, passed away at home on January 1, 2020. Paul was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Paul and Beatrice Eisman in March of 1950.

Paul graduated from the Frankfurt American High School in Germany, and went on to earn a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He worked at Applied Research Laboratories in Austin for 31 years, becoming a Licensed Professional Engineer, and then continued his work at SAIC.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, he was a long time volunteer with the Travis County Sheriff's Department as a reserve deputy, scuba diver and communications expert. A world traveler since childhood, he lived in places as varied as Alaska, Okinawa, and Frankfurt, and continued his travels in both his personal and professional life.

Paul is survived by his wife, Shevawn, of Austin, and his daughters Karen Eisman (Otis Brower), Diane Eisman, and Michelle Silveyra (Alejandro).

Memorial Service will be held at Westlake United Methodist Church on January 18th at 12 PM, with Tracey Beadle officiating. Harrell Funeral Homes will be handling the arrangements.
