Lt. Col. Bradley Thomas Shields, 50, of Chantilly, Virginia passed away on November 7, 2013. He was born to James T and Barbara [Morton] Shields on January 6, 1963 in Sherman, Texas Bradley was proudly serving in the United States Army having served for 20 years. He was attached to MS Strategic Intelligence. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Nicole Shields of Chantilly, Virginia, Sons: Jake Shields at Brown University and Jared Shields of Chantilly, Virginia, mother and step-father, Barbara and Jim Fleming of Lewisville, Texas, father and step-mother, Tom and Judy Shields of Katy, Texas, sister Suzie Bibb of Lewisville, Texas, father and mother-in-law, Col. Gerald B. and Sharon B. Nery, Jr., Retired of Horseshoe Bay, Texas. Private celebration of life services will be held. An online guest register may be signed at www.PutnamCares.com.
