Jennifer Jowers

Jennifer Lyn Jowers, 43 of Kerrville, gained her wings on November 19, 2019 after many years of illness. She was born in Bay City, Texas, and lived there for a short time before the family came back home to Marble Falls. Jennifer attended Marble Falls High School and considered Marble Falls her home for most of her life until recently when she moved to Kerrville for medical care.

Life in Jennifer’s shoes was difficult. It was an uphill climb with many obstacles. She faced struggles that were hard for others to understand. But Jennifer was resilient and fought hard. Along her journey of life, she faced illnesses, injustices, and brokenness. She watched dreams fade and relationships fail. However, Jennifer survived the climb clinging to her favorite motto from the movie Frozen: “Let it go.” She found beauty and strength amidst her pain and chose to always move forward.

Toward the end of her journey, the way was still hard, but she experienced life’s rare beauty in mended relationships and unconditional love. Her last few cherished moments were spent with her mom at one side and her dad at the other, both gently holding her hands. Life in Jennifer’s shoes may have been difficult, but when she finally reached her destination, she traded her old, worn-out shoes for a beautiful pair of wings.

Jennifer will be forever remembered by her mother Donna Gliddon and husband Tony of Kingsland, Texas; father Lawrence and wife Terrie of Knox City, Texas; brother Jason Jowers and wife Renee of Clifton, Texas; sister Kaylyn Jowers of Knox City, Texas; daughter Ashlyn Rose Lusinger; granddaughters Ahmya and Aliza; along with four nephews, a niece, and numerous aunts, uncles and extended family.
