: David Keith Funkhouser of Colorado Springs passed on May 22, 2023. Born July 18,1960 Maine USA, son of late William Funkhouser and Juanita Secrest. David was a Computer Engineer for the State of California, forever leaving his code in L.A.. He deeply loved friends and family as family and friends loved him. He was a big supporter with the Elks in helping kids in need. He enjoyed building engines with his friends. He simply gave his heart to all. David is survived by his sons William and Thomas Funkhouser Sr. and grandchildren Emma, Colby, Alice and Thomas Funkhouser Jr. also his dear friends Jeff and Amy. He was preceded in death by two sisters Justina Mayes, Judy Davidson and one son, John Funkhouser.
He left us peaceful memories, and his wisdom is still our guide. And though we won’t get to see him, our love will never subside.
