Corley, Jr. in West Columbia, South Carolina. Verne, as she was affectionately known, was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Thomasina Saretta (2010) </p><p>LaVerne leaves to cherish her memory: her beloved mother, Annie Ruth (Teal); daughter, Adrienne; granddaughter, Te’Shara; brother, James (Toby); two sisters, Freda and Patricia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. </p>December 27, 1946 - May 24, 202312/27/194605/24/2023
