Dala (Tidwell) Bunch, age 78 of Broken Bow, OK passed away, Thursday, May 25, 2023 in Tulsa, OK. She was born December 13, 1944 in Broken Bow, OK to parents, Malvin and Pearl (Edwards) Tidwell.

Dala was a graduate of Broken Bow High School. She and Jerry Bunch were united in marriage November 27, 1965 in Idabel, OK and shared fifty-seven years together. She was affiliated with First Baptist Church of Broken Bow.

Dala and Jerry owned and operated Bunch’s Grocery in Broken Bow for thirty-two years. She was a volunteer for ARK and loved taking care of her cats and dogs. She will be missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Malvin and Pearl Tidwell; brother, Royce Tidwell; sister, Jane Williams; mother and father-in-law, Howard and Gladys Bunch and sister-in-law, Shirley Rudisill.

Dala is survived by her husband, Jerry Bunch of the home; son, Jerry Dean Bunch, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Gloria Bolin of Broken Bow, Shirley Dunaway of Las Vegas, NV; sisters-in-law, Mary Tidwell of Broken Bow, Vian Singleton and husband, David of Broken Bow, Dian Watson and husband, Clyde of Idabel; special nieces, Dala DeAnn Bein of Tulsa, Vicki Connell of Tulsa; special nephews, Jeff Tidwell of Broken Bow, Scotty McNeil of Tulsa and Bradley Dunway of Las Vegas; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and a multitude of friends.

We are honoring Dala’s request for no services to be held.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to ARK.
