Marilyn (Charlotte) Dean Choate, 69, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on May 24, 2023 after a long and hard fought battle with many health issues. She was surrounded by her children.

Charlotte was born on May 20, 1954 to James and Lorraine McCormick

in Houston, Texas.

Charlotte dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother to her four children and loving grandmother to her three grandsons, whom will all miss her greatly.

Charlotte was predeceased in death by her parents James and Lorraine McCormick.

Charlotte is survived by her children, Michael Shawn Gillenwater and his son Kahgen, Stacey Choate, Shellene Garza, her husband, Michael and their son’s Caleb and Ryan, and Stephanie Corley and her husband, Jimmy. Also by her sister, Betty Ntounakis, her brother-in-law, Tony Ntounakis, nieces Eleni and Kristina Ntounakis, and her brother James McCormick Jr, as well as many other extended family members and friends, whom she loved dearly.
