Barbara Jean Martin
<p>Barbara Jean Martin, 84, of Avoca died Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Schmitt Woodland Hills in Richland Center. She was born on November 10, 1938, the daughter of Harold and Marie (Ludorf) DeWitt. Barb was united in marriage to Tom Pierick in May 1956 and they had four children together, she later married William Martin on July 8, 1978, in Seabrook, New Hampshire. Barb enjoyed cooking, fishing, and crocheting.</p><p><br></p><p>Barb is survived by four children:</p><p>Thomas Pierick,</p><p>Gregory Pierick,</p><p>Scott Pierick,</p><p>Lori (Mark) Hoium;</p><p>Two grandchildren:</p><p>Samantha McClimans,</p><p>Tyler McClimans;</p><p>Great-grandson: Emmett McClimans;</p><p>Sister: Donna (Lee) Riddiough of Avoca;</p><p>Many other relatives and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Barb was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Marie, husband Bill, great-grandson Bane Axel McClimans, and sister Delores Smith.</p><p><br></p><p>A private service will be held at a future date.
