Mary Alice Prince, age 78 of Murray, KY died on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Lakeway Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, KY. She was a retired operator for Mattel and was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.

Born Wednesday, May 2, 1945 in Benton, KY, she was the daughter of the late Murphy Lowe Hamlett and the late Bessie (Salyers) Hamlett.

Surviving are daughters, Shelia Snow of Murray, KY and Juanita West of Fairview, TN, step-daughter, Melissa Blighton, brother, Johnny Hamlett, sister, Barbara West, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Gary D. Langston, and brother, Edward Hamlett.

A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Scott Penick officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home.
