HOULTON, Michael Leroy O’Hara, 77, passed away May 19, 2023, in Houlton. He was born June 20, 1945, in Bangor, the son of Leroy and Christine (Campbell) O’Hara.

Michael graduated from Houlton High School, class of 1963, Ricker College in 1972, and Bryant & Statton College of Boston in 1970, with a degree in Business Administration. He retired from the Army National Guard after 21 years, serving in Vietnam and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 20 years. Mike enjoyed taking trips by train and traveled all over the nation by rail.

He is survived by a sister, Marilyn Oliver, of TN.

He was predeceased by his parents, and his wife Ruth, in 2012.

A graveside funeral service with military honors will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 2:00 pm, at Evergreen Cemetery in Houlton, with the Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating.
