<p>Jeremy Deschaines, 41, died unexpectedly of natural causes on May 13, 2023, at his home in Auburn. He was born in Lewiston and grew up attending Auburn schools. He also attended the University of Southern Maine in Portland. As a young person, he was nurtured by the wonderful community of United Baptist Church in Lewiston. Jeremy enjoyed a wide range of music, especially musical theater, and was a talented pianist. He was a big fan of the Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed many family vacations in the Adirondacks and on the Maine coast. Jeremy bravely faced the many struggles that were a result of his chronic illness and he will be remembered for his kindness, his gentleness and his generosity of spirit.</p><p><br></p><p>Jeremy is survived by his parents, Marcel and Martha Deschaines; his brother, Phillip; and his sister, Laura and her fiancé, Paul Batten.
